"Landscapes of Sorrow and Grace" is a journey of a human soul. It explores its sadness and beauty, uniting both of these qualities in one, unique, refined substance.
Flute, the main hero of the story, is looking for truth, believing that the truth can be found in unity of human souls. Despite the arduous paths of unexpected life turns the main character of my Concerto realizes that the true  beauty of a human soul, its pureness, its desire for oneness- with Creator, with Universe, with nature, with other souls- remains untouched.

"Landscapes of Sorrow and Grace" are written for and dedicated to a celebrated Belgian flutist Berten D'Hollander.
